The Modern Barn House

A contemporary country home defined by clear lines, material integrity and a restrained palette. The layout is open and fluid, with Crittall glazing allowing light to move through the house while subtly zoning each space. Polished plaster walls introduce a softer, more tactile finish against the structure.

At the centre of the plan, the kitchen is organised around a solid concrete dining table, creating a sense of weight and permanence within the space. In the living room a porcelain fireplace is the focal point. Upstairs each bedroom is treated individually, from a full-wall velvet headboard in the guest room to a more private, suite-style arrangement in the principal bedroom.
